The
Women's Ministry is a body of women believers who come together for
spiritual enhancement and fellowship on a monthly basis.
Our objective is to create a spiritual oneness and personal bond
with all the ladies of the church through biblical truth and fellowship.
A brief description of the activities available to you through the
Women's Ministry is below.
Sister to Sister
When you join the church you are assigned to a "seasoned sister." This
sister will be there to encourage and help you with your transition here. She
will be there to answer any questions you might have and give you direction.
First Saturday Prayer
Every first of the month, we come together to revitalize ourselves through
prayer, praise and worship. Services begin at 9:00 a.m.
Women's Fellowship
We consider it our "Ladies Night Out." We come together for a potluck,
a play or just a walk on the beach with our sisters in Christ. We meet quarterly
at the designated place.
Married Ladies Fellowship
Occurs every first Saturday immediately following prayer. We assemble together
to learn more about how to love and honor our husband, as unto the Lord.
Basically, it is women encouraging women through the Word of God! We have
a great time enjoying one another outside of the typical setting.
Golden Ladies of Quality
This group is for ladies that are 60 and older, fellowshiping together through
prayer on Wednesday and visiting the sick. Helping one another with information
to give quality of life.
Single Women's Fellowship (GEMS)
For ladies 18 and up. The objective is to realize that during this "present
state" of singleness, whether through divorce, widowhood, or by choice,
sanctification and contentment lies within spiritual wholeness and a continual
sanctified relationship with God. This group meet every other Friday.
Annual Women's Day
Once a year we have this event in August. This day is set aside for the women
of the church to be in charge of the services. Our women's chorus and praise
team render music for the day. This is also our annual fundraiser. Each lady
is asked to support and contribute to this effort.
