II Chronicles 5:13-14
It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth forever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD; So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God.

The Greater St. Luke Music Ministry under the direction of Minister of Music, Yolinda McCown, is made up of anointed choir members and skilled musicians presenting a repertoire filled with high anthems, hymns, gospel music, praise & worship songs, and contemporary gospel music.

Our Mission is lifting up the name of the Lord in song, reaching out to His people, and living our lives in accordance with? our ministry purpose.

Our Primary Ministry Purpose is to follow Christ. Secondly, we are to bring forth the good news of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through the ministry of song.

We believe God expects us to minister to His people in harmonies that touch souls and inspire those who may be searching to find the narrow way. We acknowledge that God wants us to be a light and shining example for others to see the benefit in serving a true and living God.

Singing is a vital part of the worship service. This ministry uses vocal (singing) and instrumental (piano, bass, organ, drums and other instruments) sounds to relay a message concerning Christ. This ministry serves as an exciting and effective method of soul winning.

The Sanctuary Choir, the Greater St. Luke Sanctuary choir, sings every Sunday for morning worship service, as well as the Praise and Worship team.

Praise and Worship Team leads the congregation in songs of thanksgiving and praise to God for all the blessings the He has given us. The worship portion focuses on the greatness of God and exalting Him.

Special Events:
The Men's Chorus & Women’s Chorus are an exciting ministries led by the men and women of the congregation. When these men and women send praises of song going up, blessings come pouring down.

The Youth Choir develops our young people for ministry in song. This ministry is exciting for them. Not only do the children learn to minister in song, but they also are having fellowship with other children who are being taught the ways of Christ, while developing their voices.
